  We've revamped and re-launched the Herts & Essex Fertility Centre (HEFC) corporate website.
Blasto.. what? - Apr 12
  Herts and Essex Fertility Centre has been a loyal client for over six years and is a pioneer in the field of Fertility treatments.

Herts and Essex Fertility team wanted to reach their patients and people who research this subject with a new approach. They wanted to allow their consultants and laboratory team to contribute to their website with articles and research papers and approached Red Transact to create an area to publish this work.

We came up with a better idea. Instead of creating an area to upload articles and documents we suggested a blog based website dedicated to in depth information on fertility related subjects. This will not allow the Team to reach their target audience but also allow the Centre to build a new website with credible information that will enhance their search engine presence. The new site is to carry the same brand identity and a design that instantly relates to the main website.

The result was a blog based website
www.blastocyst.co.uk with a content management system that allows the Herts and Essex Fertility Team to manage the website themselves.
We added Text to the Hertz marketing mix - Mar 12
  One of our main goals was to provide multi-channel e-marketing services to our clients. To further our ability to do this we have successfully used SMS marketing for the first time for the car rental giant, Hertz.

For a while now we have been running email campaigns for Hertz. With our fully managed SMS campaigns Hertz are now able to reach more people on the go and a way more convenient and effective for their clientele than email.

By offering an SMS service alongside our already well-established managed email campaigns we are now able to offer our clients more flexibility and choice when it comes to marketing. 
Kings Seeds sell better after the upgrade - Mar 12
  Kings Seeds has been a loyal customer for many years so when they came to Red Transact wanting to add increased functionality to their already successful site, Red Transact was more than willing to help.
Because Kings Seeds sells to countries outside of the UK the cost of delivery can vary, this is also complicated by the fact that different products have different weights which can lead to the cost of delivery varying even within the UK.

By applying our latest technology to the site we were able to allow Kings Seeds the ability to vary delivery charges to accommodate their varied customers.

Another part of the site upgrade include the ability for Kings Seeds to offer Promo Codes that can be as complicated or as simple as they like. Kings Seeds are now able to offer promo codes that can give varying degrees of discount or price reduction as well as allowing multiple levels of discount for the same promo code. This ability to offer promo codes that can offer increased discounts for customers that buy more items incentivises the customer to purchase more items on the site.

These changes to site allows Kings Seeds to not only be more flexible when it comes to charging customers for delivery but it also incentivises the customer to purchase more items on the site. The upgraded software running on the site now enables Kings Seeds to be more competitive and also manage their costs more effectively.
M D Long is refreshed and equipped - Feb 12
  After a few months of development Red Transact is very proud to announce the launch of the new e-commerce website www.michaeldlong.com.

As announced back in December 2011 Michael D Long was looking at a site refresh which gave us the ideal opportunity to move the site over to our .NET based CMS Desk platform.

The brief was to increase profit margins whilst reducing the volume and management time through the application of CMS Desk’s excellent management tools and automation facilities.

Since February, CMS Desk is being used to manage the site and it allows their web admin team to update the product catalogue with greater ease. Also the site was given a fresh look, keeping in line with their old design which their regular customers voted to keep.

Hot & Cold Laminate-it re-launched! - Jan 12
  For several years Laminate it sold cold laminators online using their site www.laminate-it.co.uk. This was a site that Red Transact designed and developed a few years ago. Not only does this site allows customers to buy cold laminators from the comfort of their home but it also provides a wealth of information about cold lamination and why Cold Laminators are ideal for many different business and personal needs.

Recently Laminate-it came to Red Transact with plans for launching a new range of Laminators, their new ‘Hot Laminator’ range. With the content management system they could just add these products without our involvement but the website was solely designed for cold laminators with a cold blue theme. Even their logo was representing the cold lamination. They wanted to make sure that their website reflected this new range without affecting the brand image they’ve built up over the years, in order to reach out to a new market segment.

Instead of redesigning the website our designers blended the warmth with the cold by combining red and blue to both their logo and the website. Cold laminator pages are presented in blue whilst the hot laminator range is presented in red.

Launching a new product range is always an important moment for any company, with our help Laminate-it should be able to capitalise on this new range by offering this new product on their site.
Michael D Long plans for a site refresh - Dec 11
  Long term client Michael D Long take a fresh look at e-commerce with a new site built around CMS Desk. With all the best in B2C technology MDL were quick to see the benefits of using CMS Desk for creating an integrated Antique Militaria e-Commerce solution for their business.

Their key and yet unusual requirement was to increase profit whilst reducing volume and management time through the application of CMS Desk’s excellent management tools and automation facilities.

MDL's current site has served them well for the past few years but as Red Transact continues to develop its services and software we have been able to offer CMS Desk as a new solution to their changing needs.
Secure Holidays new site launches - Dec 11
   After a few months worth of development Red Transact are proud to announce to launch of the www.secureholidays.co.uk

The site offers a clean, uncluttered design that allows the customer to find what the want with the minimal amount of effort.

The customer can now get their holiday booking under way straight from the homepage by simply entering the details of the kind of flight or holiday they are looking for. If the customer decides they want some inspiration for booking a holiday they can easily browse the site for the different flights and holidays that the company offers as well as being able to view the top destinations and also any current deals that Secure Holidays might be running.

The site not only makes it simple for the customers to use it but also allows Secure Holidays to easily manage the content of the site as well as easily manage and deal with incoming bookings.
Secure Holidays choose Red Transact for their new site - Aug 11
  Secure Holidays are a company dedicated to quality holidays. They offer wide range of worldwide destinations and promise to find the perfect holiday suited to each individual customer. Customers can choose from building their own tailor made holiday, by placing all individual components together.

They want to allow customers to have the flexibility to visit multiple destinations or select one of Secure Holidays own packaged holidays. Secure Holidays other services include Travel Insurance, Airport Parking and transfers.

With a company wanting to offer such a diverse range of choices to their customers they require an on-line solution that will be flexible for their customers but at the same time offer reliability that will enable Secure Holidays customers to use the site with confidence.

Red Transact will be working closely with Secure Holidays to provide an online solution that meets their exact needs and the needs of their customers.
M A Ford is upgraded and improved - Aug 11
  M A Ford Europe Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of M A Ford Manufacturing which is based in the US. M A Ford Europe provides distribution for the parent company’s high performance cutting tools across Europe.

M A Ford has been using our Ko-Integrate software with a selection of modules for several years. The previous version of the site was dedicated to their Consignment Stock customers where such clients could re-order to top up their on-site consignment stock and the site understood their required stock levels and contract pricing.

Building on this base M A Ford wanted to provide a corporate multi-language information web site with full e-Commerce for existing trade customers and real time stock availability. To facilitate this Red Transact upgraded their core software and database to Ko-Operate version 4.6. This new release of our software offers M A Ford a live stock availability feed direct from Access Dimensions coupled with a new quick order facility with on the fly product code validation and suggestion, advanced price matrix pricing, multi-language and more whilst retaining their very specific requirements for consignment stock re-ordering.

Support has also been made easier with sophisticated error trapping and automated error emails for the integration software including trapping errors arising outside of the integration software itself.
Hydrogarden is launched - Jul 11
  Hydrogarden has been providing specialist Hydroponic equipment to trade customers since 1996. Since the 90’s Hydrogarden has become a leader in the market and now regularly supplies products and services to retailers within and outside of the UK.

More recently Hydrogarden has been selling to an ever-increasing number of commercial growers and research organisations.

Due to very rapid growth Hydrogarden needed an e-commerce solution that would allow increased levels of self service for their customers to improve their customer service and maintain control over costs. As Hydrogarden do not sell directly to the public it is essential their web presence fully supports their customers needs but also provides extensive information for the general public on all of their products as well as the opportunity to locate a valued Hydrogarden retailer.

At Red Transact we have years of experience of creating and modifying marketing and e-commerce sites, using Ko-Transact technology and integrating to accounts software, such as the solution used by Hydrogarden, Access Dimensions.

Unusually Hydrogarden provided the web site design. This was a ‘pixel perfect’ design which is often challenging to apply within a typical e-commerce web site structure. Whilst challenging the team worked closely with Hydrogarden’s in house designers to create an excellent looking site with no loss of functionality.
